Often as a Realtor in Pullman Washington, I don’t have the opportunity to be at my sellers or buyers moving day. I am typically either showing homes, meeting with clients at the office, or maybe sitting at an Open House as I am today. But this morning was different. You see, my neighbors has asked me to list their home earlier this year. Now that we have it Sold, today is their moving day and their friends came to lend a helping hand loading the truck.
It has been a long time since I have moved, but I know it sure is hard work. So I thought I would do something I really don’t ordinarily get to do. I ordered some Pizza’s and Pop to be delivered. It sure was fun. I know I was calling the Pizza place here in Pullman pretty early on a Saturday morning, but to my surprise Justin at Dominos picked up the phone very early this morning. He didn’t even have his computer up and running, but took my number and called me back. I sure appreciate their great customer service.
I sure had fun planning my surprise. I think I might of enjoyed it more than Pizza itself. And anyone who knows me well, knows Pizza is one of my favorite foods! But, I wanted not only help the hungry workers, but also wanted to provide some time for these friends to sit down and spend some time together before moving on to another part of our world.
