Tips on Showing Your Pullman WA Home For Sale

With June fully underway in our Pullman Real Estate Market, I thought it might be a good time to remind my sellers the importance of making your home stand out above the rest. Of course, I personally advise my clients on things that they can do to not only get the home ready to market, but the things that they can do to make the first great impression.

But here is a short list of things you might want to do before your next showing whether you work with me, or any Realtor in our Pullman Real Estate Market.  I do work with lots of buyers here in Pullman, and I know there are a few things that we as Realtors appreciate, and things the buyer also appreciates as well.

1.  Please leave home as clean and tidy as you can.   When we walk in the front door, we really appreciate your efforts to have it looking and smelling clean.  Having things put away is also important, as when there is clutter and things lying around, it is distracting to my buyers.  We want them to focus on your beautiful home!
2.  Please also leave the lights on and curtains open.  A nice well lit home gives a warm and inviting feeling.  Dark rooms feel uncomfortable.  Plus, we really hate to be fumbling around in the dark looking for the light switch.
3.  I know this one seems rather silly, but please leave the toilet seats and covers down.   I think this one is self-evident, but is so often overlooked.

These few simple tips just a few of the tips that I provide for my sellers, and my buyers appreciate when they walk through your home.  If you would like additional information, or a personal consultation on marketing your home in the Pullman Real Estate Market, I would be happy to meet with you.
